DALBERT SECURES CAGLIARI MOVE

Brazilian fullback Henrique Dalbert has completed his loan move to Cagliari from fellow Italian football team Inter Milan according to various media sources in Italy. Inter Milan left-back Dalbert has signed for Cagliari on loan for the new season with the option for it to turn to a permanent transfer for €7m.

Dalbert, 27, joins Italian football side Cagliari shortly after returning from a loan spell with Rennes in the French top flight this summer. Various Italian media outlets such as Sports Italia, Sky Sports Italia confirmed the loan move for Dalbert and that an official announcement is expected in a matter of hours.

Italian football giants Inter Milan won't be involved in the Brazilian player’s salary while he is on loan at Sardinian club Cagliari as the club would be responsible for all of his salary throughout his stay at the Sardegna Arena.

Cagliari are not obligated to make the transfer permanent as they have the right to exercise or decide against the option to conclude the transfer for just €7m.

Inter Milan loaneeDalbert has been a big flop in Italian football following his move from OGC Nice in the French league four years ago. The Nerazzurri paid €21m for the Brazilian player but he has struggled to produce performances to justify the big transfer fee spent on his move to Italian football.

Dalbert joined Fiorentina on loan from Inter Milan before he was sent on another loan to French football. The left-back returned to the French Ligue 1 last season to play for Rennes. He would be hoping to make his mark at Cagliari in the new season.

Cagliari and Inter Milan are hopeful of doing more business this summer. Inter Milan want to sign NahitanNandez from the Sardinian club, while Cagliari are on course to make the loan move of Belgian international RadjaNainggolan permanent this summer. Inter Milan midfielder Nainggolan had a successful loan with Cagliari last season.
