BIGLIA SET FOR MILAN MOVE

The captain of Italian football side Lazio is reportedly set to move to a rival side AC Milan.


Since the arrival of the new owners, Milan have been focused on luring the best talents to the San Siro. The former European football giants could succeed in luring The Aquile star for €22 million, side bonuese.

Forza Italia reports that the player’s deal is set to expire next term and that extension talks are almost complete. Recent reports show that the talks could have broken down with a move to Milan now a higher possibility.

Sky Sports Italia says the skipper will exit Lazio this summer for €22 million transfer costs and €3 million in bonuses. The 31-year old player is expected to ask for a three year deal at San Siro to secure his immediate future. On a personal level, the move would see Biglia earn in the region of €3.5 million in wages.

The player in question is on international duty with Argentina but he is expected to return to Italy later in June for medicals and further discussions.

Milan are almost done with the deals for Mateo Musacchio and Frank Kessie. Wolfsburg star Ricardo Rodriguez is expected to move to Milan as well.

Elsewhere, Italian football could miss Ivan Perisic next term if his move to Old Trafford works out. The Inter Milan player has reportedly agreed personal terms with the Premier League side. Inter has turned down the offer but United hope they can convince them to sell the attacking minded player.

United are set to pay the Croatia international €7 million per year but they would have to increase their offer of €40 million for the player as Inter want way more.
